The RDT950-CE is a low-cost driver terminal for mobile applications. The many features of this Windows CE data terminal make it an excellent fit for many markets. It was designed for the extremes inherent to the trucking industry such as temperature, vibration, moisture, impact, and unreliable vehicle power. Multiple serial ports allow connection to external communication devices, such as satellite transceivers or radio modems.
The RDT950-CE rugged driver terminal includes an integrated uninterruptible power supply. The RDT950-CE automatically suspends during a power interruption, temporary disconnect, or vehicle cranking. Automatic shut down occurs if good power has not been restored after three minutes. This feature is perfect for mobile messaging in vehicles where input power is unreliable.

The RDT950-CE has a full QWERTY keypad for a comfortable PC-like interface. Its five programmable function keys, numeric keypad, and touch-screen display make data entry easy and flexible. The cradle accessory securely holds the terminal while in transit or in use, and offers easy one-handed insertion and removal of the terminal.
The Dyacon line of rugged data terminals are designed for integrators and value added resellers to bundle with their individual applications for a cost-effective solution for the trucking industry. The terminals can be customized with logos and color schemes. Mounting Cradles
Mounts in your vehicle to secure the RDT950-CE rugged data terminal while vehicle is in motion. The cradle allows easy one-handed insertion or removal of the rugged data terminal. The terminal can be used in or out of the cradle.
